Interview Pivot Point France
Julie talks about the books she writes
The books I create as a freelancer for PivotPoint France, intended for esthetic courses, will be available in schools starting in September 2024. It's with overflowing passion that I've invested myself in this educational project over the past two years. As an author, I've put my whole heart into creating interactive and dynamic content, embellished with exercises and numerous inspiring visuals. The professions in the esthetic/cosmetics fields are of incomparable richness, and their training, often intense, is full of valuable learning. In close collaboration with the PivotPoint team, I've shaped a book that embodies my aspirations as a passionate learner and my experiences as a teacher in the field. My primary goal was to design books that could meet the needs of all learners, regardless of their academic level. I sincerely hope that these books will become an essential and inspiring cornerstone throughout everyone's educational journey.
For this project, Nomad Words was contacted by Dr. Adina Paytan, bio-geo-chemist researcher at the University of Santa Cruz in California, to produce the artistic part of the video as well as the French translation, to illustrate her research results published in March 26, 2021 in Science.
About the consulting activity, so far Nomad Words had been working for a french cosmetology laboratory Cosmepar, to help audit their business, study their market, provide advice to increase their visibility as well as income through digital communication.
In France as well the company was in charge of a market study for a company Pivot Point which creates content for hairdresser schools. They wanted to analyze the market to find new business opportunities and diversify their offer.
Nomad Words had also been working for the 4elements yoga center and culinary school in US Virgin Island to re-orient their digital communication and redesign the website of the center to reach more customers.
Moreover, we had the opportunity to collaborate for the creation of Evergreen Wedding and Event planner in the USA.
With the Institut Français des Sciences de l'Homme, Nomad Words set up a partnership with a range of organic skincare products to promote the use of non-toxic and environmentally friendly products in schools and training centers related to well-being and body care.
Oriental massage Nafha
When she took up a post at the Nafha ethical and organic cosmetics company, Julie worked as a sales manager for France and helped develop the company's sales support tools.
Her clients were professionals such as beauty institutes and organic stores. She decided to create treatment protocols linked to the history of the brand, inspired by oriental culture and their traditional massages carried out in hammams (traditional Maroccan steam rooms).
The idea was to create added value and stand out by creating brand-specific protocols to support the sale of the skincare range. Once the protocols were created, with a professional film crew, we made the training videos to train our clients. These videos were then made available to professionals via online access.
Ghassoul (Maroccan clay) Scalp care
To offer complete and original treatment protocols, she has created a specific treatment for the scalp. Once again the goal was to tell through specific maneuvers the history of the brand and its oriental origins. Indeed, in oriental and particularly Moroccan culture, women's hair is a real seductive asset, loaded with symbolism, which is why they take great care of it.
Using the brand's far products such as Organic Argan Oil from Morocco and Ghassoul, the protocol transcribes the haircare rituals of oriental women.
As for the oriental body care ritual, we have also produced a training video for our professional clientele.
